March 25th, 2024

Dear Parents and Students, In today's class, I needed to remind many students that this is an English learning environment and that Mandarin speaking will not be accepted or allowed.  I respect that the students have undergone tremendous changes and my style of teaching is very new to them. I assured them that my primary goal is to TEACH. I am very firm in the classroom with high expectations. I use many methods to learn, activities, power points, note taking, reinforcement of story comprehension, and word usage in common terms, not just definitions found.  I expect students to LEARN, by focusing on the topic. To come to class with all their textbooks and school supplies needed to take notes; highlighters, pencils, and erasers.   Meeting the goals and objectives in English class is my primary goal. I ask that all my A2 students follow my lead each class period. I provide ample time and thorough instructions for all lessons. I hand out weekly homework inserts by the Friday prior. Y
